MARTHA MONTALVAN

Director of Community Outreach

Originally from Jalisco Mexico, Gaby considers herself a natural-born salesperson. Since her youth, she has been a merchant, selling shoes and clothing, because she thoroughly enjoys contact with people and sales.

When she arrived in the United States in 2004, she worked at an insurance and tax preparation agency where she worked for about 5 years. She then met her husband, and she left that job to dedicate herself to her family. Gaby is presently in Sales as a senior leader for Just’s Products. She is responsible for training large groups of consultants. She is a firm believer in the product. Her introduction to the product happened by chance when on one occasion one of her children fell ill with severe bronchitis and she got to know the benefits of Just’s products. She liked them so much that she went from being a consumer to becoming a representative of the company. She has been at Just’s Products for 15 years.

Gaby is constantly improving her sales skills by taking leadership and personal improvement courses because she loves to continue learning and growing professionally.

She started at Chicas Mom Inc. looking for opportunities and classes for her business, became a volunteer, attended some of their workshops, and also participated in their Anniversary Event as a vendor.

Today, she divides her time between family, business, and her volunteer work at Chicas Mom Inc. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as Director of Community Outreach, which is the link between the needs of the community, people who can donate, and organizations and instructors who can contribute their knowledge by presenting workshops.

Gaby serves the organization with great affection because it was at Chicas Mom Inc. that the doors opened for her, where she met many people and experienced a lot of personal growth. Gaby tells us: “At Chicas Mom, Inc. we are helping people, listening to them, attending to their needs, and seeing how we can help with training and workshops. Our mission is to support families, the important thing is to seek help, train, and contribute with our work to solve the problems of our community.”
